MUKOMUKO - Mukomuko District Attorney's Office, Bengkulu Province has received a partial refund of state losses in the alleged corruption case of the construction of a new inpatient building at the local Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in 2019 worth Rp. 100 million.
"It has been returned Rp. 100 million from state losses of Rp. 900 million," said Head of the Mukomuko District Attorney's Office, Rudi Iskandar, in Mukomuko, as reported by Antara, Monday, February 20.
His party gave CV Fajar Bhakti three months to return all state losses due to corruption in the construction of the new inpatient building at the RSUD.
"Now it has been running for a month, and there is still two months to recover state losses," he said.
The investigation into this case began when the work on the construction of the inpatient room at the Mukomuko Hospital in 2019 which was carried out by CV Fajar Bhakti was not completed.
The building has not been fitted with a roof and the condition of the building is tilted, and the Audit Result Report (LHP) of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) also found state losses in the project.
Rudi said that before taking steps to investigate this case, his institution through the Civil and State Administration Section (Datun) had provided assistance with a focus on recovering state losses to the building construction project.
However, assistance efforts by the Mukomuko Kejari Datun Section did not receive a response from related parties, especially CV Fajar Bhakti partners.
"It seems that there is no intention to resolve it, so from Datun we will transfer it to a special criminal section to handle the case," he said.
