JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) said that suspect T and the case file in the case of falsification of the fishing permit (SIPI) document on the North Coast (Pantura) Java had been handed over to the prosecutor.

"Alhamdulillah, we have handed over suspect T and evidence (of the handover stage ii) to the prosecutor on Friday (February 17)," said Director General of Marine and Fishery Resources Supervision (PSDKP) of the KKP Admiral TNI Adin Nurawaluddin in a written statement, Monday, February 20, confiscated by Antara.

Adin added, in the case of falsifying fishery permits in Pantura, a new suspect with the initials SN has also been named. Thus, the suspect in the case of falsifying fishery permits in Pantura becomes 2 people.

Adin explained that the SN suspect turned out to be the mastermind behind this document forgery case, his role was revealed based on the confession of suspect T.

Perpetrator T admitted that SN was the perpetrator who had been telling him to fake and sell fake licensing documents to fishery ship owners.

"Based on sufficient preliminary evidence, we have determined the suspect SN since Tuesday (February 14) and was arrested by investigators on Thursday (February 16)," said Adin.

Regarding the process of examining the suspect SN, investigators have searched two houses, one cafe, and one car belonging to suspect SN.

Adin explained that in addition to the detention of the suspect, the KKP Code of Ethics Council team also processed the provision of severe disciplinary punishment with the threat of being dismissed from his position as a Civil Servant (PNS).
