There Were Victims Of Death As A Result Of The Petastrophe In Blitar, Police Also Find Pieces Of The Body In A House That Is Dried

JAKARTA - Blitar City Police Chief AKBP Argowiyono said there were dead victims from the explosion suspected of being made of firecrackers. In addition, three other family members are still being sought in the rubble of the building.

"In (the house) when there was an explosion there were four people, that was one family. Parents and children," said the Head of the Argowiyono Police to reporters in Blitar, East Java, Monday, February 20, as reported by Antara.

The explosion occurred on Sunday, February 19 evening at around 22.30 WIB in Tegalrejo Hamlet, Karangbendo Village, Blitar Regency. The victim who died named Darman (65) was found under the rubble of his collapsed house.

The police, assisted by other officers, are also still looking for three other family members who are suspected of being buried by the rubble. Until this news was revealed, their fate was unknown.

However, officers found pieces of human parts around the scene. Currently, officers are working hard to find the victims.

Based on information from the head of the neighborhood unit and neighboring the victim, apart from the victim Darman who occupied the house, there were also Aripin and Widodo (both Darman's children). At the time of the explosion, there was also a relative named Wawa who happened to be playing in the house.

"The victim identified as dead as the owner of the house, one person. The other three people are still buried in the rubble, possibly died because body parts were found," said the Police Chief.

In addition, the police also identified the number of other residents who were injured as a result of the explosion.

The post-explosive video went viral on the WhastApp conversation application and social media. In addition to showing the condition of the victim's house which was destroyed and razed to the ground, a number of neighboring houses were also damaged by the severity of the explosion.

Many residents are still crowding the scene. They want to see the condition of the victim's house and its surroundings.

However, the police have also installed a police line so that unauthorized residents are prohibited from entering.
