North Sumatran Police Chief Ensures Community Activities Still Continue During F1 Powerboat

MEDAN - North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak emphasized that community activities continued during the F1 Powerboat activities in Balige District, Toba Regency, North Sumatra, on 24-26 February 2023.

"The people of the surrounding Balige City don't need to worry, we will definitely facilitate the needs here," said Panca at Balige Toba Regency, reported by ANTARA, Sunday, February 19.

Panca said that the North Sumatra Police together with the Toba Police and the Toba Transportation Agency would conduct traffic flow engineering during the F1 Powerboat activity.

In addition, rules will be applied to the community during these international activities.

"It's not that you can't go out, you can. But please follow the path that has been prepared during the F1 Powerboat 'event'. On the ground there are security officers who are ready to help direct people when they leave the house," he said.

Regional Police Chief said, residents do not have to worry when leaving the house for activities. Just pay attention to the routes that have been changed, later the officers will help direct them," said Panca.

Previously, security for the F1 Powerboat activity which took place in Balige City, Toba Regency, on 24-26 February 2023 continued to be strengthened.

In order for the implementation of the F1 Powerboat security to run smoothly, the North Sumatra Regional Police together with the Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command again held a rally at the Toba Regent's Office Field, Saturday (18/2).

Led by the North Sumatran Police Chief and the Bukit Barisan Military Commander I Maj. Gen. Daniel A Chardin reminded all personnel attending the call to find out their respective duties and responsibilities during the F1 Powerboat.

"Perform this task as well as possible. Follow the SOP that has been determined and report each activity to the respective leadership," said Panca.

Kapolda reminded all personnel must continue to be in the midst of society. Don't let the community suffer because of the F1 Powerboat activity.
