JAKARTA - Member of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD Pantas Nainggolan reminded the DKI Provincial Government to no longer have an overlapping development program in each DKI regional work unit (SKPD) starting in 2024.

Currently, the DKI Provincial Government is preparing a regional government (RKPD) work plan for 2024. RKPD is the initial stage of formulating the regional budget allocation (APBD).

It is appropriate to think that so far the implementation of development programs between one SKPD and another SKPD has often overlapped. As a result, many new development programs seem to damage the previous program.

"Don't happen again, a road was built by one SKPD because there is no such thing and that, it will be dug up again on a newly built road," said Pantas in his statement, quoted on Sunday, February 19.

It is appropriate to emphasize that the drafting of RKPD must be considered by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) because this is a momentum to improve work synergy between SKPDs.

He gave an example, the activity that needs to be synergized is flood management. Because, so far, work in an area has not been perfect because it intersects with other official matters.

The momentum is now to integrate all activities. Mutual support. So, say what is being launched by the Water Management Service in one area, all other SKPDs also carry out other development activities there. So that everything is integrated," he said

Meanwhile, the Daily Executive (Plh) in the field of City and Environment Infrastructure, Bappeda DKI Deftrianov, explained that for the past few years, the DKI Jakarta Bappeda has been trying to encourage synchronization of programs between SKPDs.

"Regarding the problem of program synchronization, we have in principle implemented it. So from the early stages before input, even the SKPD is one of the important points that we emphasize," said Deftrianov.

"So, for example (Dinas) Bina Marga wants to build land for road construction, but, when there is access to crossings for housing that need land, we encourage other SKPDs to support it," he added.
