There is new information regarding the riots between supporters outside the Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang, Friday, February 17 yesterday. It is known that PSIS Semarang match tickets against Persis Solo had been sold before a recommendation from the police.

This new fact was conveyed by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Semarang Polrestabes AKBP Donny Lumbantoruan. He said this was obtained based on the results of the examination of a number of witnesses, including the match organizing committee.

"There are about 20 people who have been clarified consisting of supporters, coordinators of supporters, and the organizing committee for the match," he said, as quoted from Antara, Saturday, February 18.

In fact, the Semarang Polretabes finally issued a recommendation for the match with a note being held without spectators.

After the police recommendation that the match without spectators was issued, a miscommunication occurred between the organizing committee and the match, resulting in chaos that occurred on the day of the incident.

Previously, chaos between supporters of PSIS Semarang and police personnel took place in front of the Jatidiri Stadium in Semarang during the match against Persis Solo.

PSIS supporters were desperate to come to the stadium even though the match was held without spectators. PSIS' match against Persistih ended with a score of 1-1.
