Reflecting On The Chairman Of Tobelo District Court, The KPK Is Looking For Ways To Handle Cases Carried Out By Gazalba Saleh

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has questioned the Chairman of the District Court (PN) Tobelo I Gusti Ngurah Ramawijaya. He was asked by investigators regarding the handling of cases carried out by Supreme Court Justice Gazalba Saleh.

"The witness was present and his knowledge was investigated, among others, related to the handling and management of cases handled by the suspect GS at the Supreme Court (MA)," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Saturday, February 18.

Ali did not specify the reason why Ramawijaya was being questioned by investigators. However, he is believed to know the direct practice carried out by Gazalba to take care of the case in the Supreme Court.

As previously reported, the KPK has named 15 suspects in the bribery case in handling this case. They are Judicial Judge Edy Wibowo; Supreme Court Judge Gazalba Saleh; Judicial Judge Prasetio Nugroho; and Gazalba staff, Redhy Novarisza.

Another suspect, namely Judge Agung Sudrajad Dimyati; Judicial Judge or substitute clerk Elly Tri Pangestu; two state civil servants (ASN) at the Mak Kementeratan Desy Yustria and Muhajir Habibie; and two ASNs in the MA, Nurmanto Akmal and Albasri.

Then, lawyers Yosep Parera and Eko Suparno and debtors of the Intidana Savings and Loans Cooperatives Heryanto Tanaka and Ivan Dwi Kusuma Sujanto.

In addition, there is one new suspect in this case, namely the Chairman of the Sandi Karya Hospital Foundation (RS) Makassar (SKM), Wahyu Hardi. He is suspected of giving Rp3.7 billion to Edy Wibowo so that the hospital is not declared bankrupt at the cassation level.
