SUMBAR - The Payakumbuh City Government (Pemkot) opens access to complaints for the public through the Information and Dialogue Room program with residents or Rida.
Acting Mayor of Payakumbuh Rida Ananda said residents can complain directly to regional and service heads through Rida which is carried out via Zoom every Friday.
"We carry out this activity routinely every Friday via Zoom starting at 14.00 WIB, we present this program to accommodate all input, aspirations from residents," he said in Payakumbuh, West Sumatra (West Sumatra), Friday, February 17, as reported by Antara.
The Rida program has actually started to be implemented since Friday, January 27, 2022. However, not all people know about it and take advantage of the program.
"We continue to socialize so that we can also know the real conditions in the community," he said.
He said that when the program was held, all regional apparatus organizations (OPD) in Payakumbuh City had to join via Zoom.
This, he continued, so that all public complaints that had been submitted could be immediately responded to by the OPD concerned.
"With the implementation of this program through Zoom, all OPDs can follow it either from the office or when they are outside the region," he said.
According to Rida, the implementation of this program using Zoom is to make it easier for the public to be able to express their aspirations, without having to come to the office first.
In fact, people who cannot join through can also come directly to every kelurahan and join Zoom in the kelurahan.
"Even so, I make sure that people who want to directly convey their aspirations to me face-to-face, please. Be it to the office, to the official residence or when I go directly to the community," he said.
He said that he would routinely go directly to the midst of society according to orders from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
"Hopefully, we Payakumbuh City Government can accommodate all aspirations which of course will have an impact on the plans and programs that we will prepare in the future," he said.
