Karyoto-Endar Stays Working As Usual At The KPK Despite The Promotion Of Upgrading

JAKARTA - Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Karyoto and Director of Investigation of the KPK Endar Priantoro continue to work as usual even though they are proposed to take office. A number of activities related to the prosecution of alleged corruption continue to take action.

"Pak Karyoto and Pak Endar are still with their positions as deputies and directors," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Friday, February 17.

"There are exposures, activities that are followed because he (Karyoto-Endar) is still in office," he continued.

Ali ensured that the two of them were not disturbed by the issues circulating in public. Moreover, there has been no decision for both of them to return to the Police because it is proposed to be promoted.

"The original agency will consider that," he said.

For information, Karyoto and Endar have recently been in the spotlight after news circulated of proposals for an increase in positions. This issue arose in the middle of the process of investigating alleged corruption in the implementation of Formula E.

Apart from Karyoto and Endar, Rohcahyanto, who previously served as Director of Prosecution, has already been returned to his agency, the Attorney General's Office. However, this return was denied regarding Formula E.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Fitroh was returned because he wanted a career in the Adhyaksa Corps. Currently, his position has been replaced by M. Asri Irwan as acting (Plt) Director of Prosecution.
