Kejari Increases Allegations Of Budget Corruption Of The Dompu Transportation Agency To Investigation

The DOMPU - District Attorney's Office (Kejari) of Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), has raised cases of alleged corruption in the management of the Dompu Transportation Service (Dishub) budget from 2019 to 2020 to the investigation process. The Head of the Dompu Prosecutor's Office, Marcimbson Carel Williams, revealed that his party had scheduled the examination of witnesses and the search of evidence to strengthen criminal indications. "Yes, so, from the results of the title, this case is now entering the investigation stage. We are currently trying to strengthen the investigation," said Carel, who was met in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, February 16. In the process, he also ensured that his party had pocketed potential state losses. However, to strengthen this, his party is now cooperating with the inspectorate. "The results of the audit from the inspectorate will strengthen the evidence of the investigation. We are still waiting and processing this in the inspectorate," he said. Kejari Dompu handled this case starting from the results of a routine audit by the Indonesian Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative NTB. From the results of the audit, at least Rp. 700 million was included in the findings of the NTB BPK which stated that there were no accountability reports from the Dompu Transportation Agency. From the two years of budget management, there were also allegations of irregularities in levies that did not enter the state treasury with a value of at least Rp. 100 million.
