The Head of the Dompu District Attorney's Office, West Nusa Tenggara,wolembson Carel Williams, said that there were already potential suspects in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of metrology and vehicle equipment at the Dompu Regency Industry and Trade Office. "Prospects of this case already exist," said Carel, who was met in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, February 16. Even though he has stated that there is a potential suspect, he is reluctant to reveal the name that will be dragged into the case. "Later, wait for the title, then we will reveal it," he said. He added that the case title would be carried out after the results of the calculation of state losses were received from the NTB Inspectorate audit team. "If there is an audit result, then we will hold it," he added. Carel added that the results of the audit of state losses were the last material that investigators needed to conduct a case title. "The examination of all the witnesses is all. So, it's just a matter of waiting for the results of the audit," he said. In handling this case, investigators have found indications of a criminal act. This is related to the purchase of goods that do not meet the procurement specifications. With this, there is a record of overpayments that are now included as potential state losses. Based on data from the official website of LPSE, Dompu Regency, the budget for the procurement of metrology tools and other infrastructure is included in the 2018 project. This project work cost around Rp1.42 billion from the Dompu APBD. The procurement of the project was carried out by a company with the initials FA with its address at Potu Village, Dompu District, Dompu Regency. At the investigation stage, the project implementer was recorded to have recovered state losses according to the Dompu Inspectorate LHP. The prosecutor's office confirmed that the recovery money was now included in the records of confiscated evidence at the Dompu Kejari.
