BPKH Is Ready To Implement The New Hajj Fee Of IDR 49.8 Million

JAKARTA - The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) is ready to provide support and ready to implement the 1444 H/2023 M Hajj costs that have previously been agreed upon by the government with the DPR in a Working Meeting with Commission VIII of the DPR RI amounting to Rp 49.8 million. The chairman of the BPKH Executive Board Fadlul Imamsyah appreciates the amount of the Hajj travel costs (Bibrih) that have been set greater than the use of the value of the benefits. This is in line with the enthusiasm to maintain the sustainability of the Hajj financial. "For the future we hope that the portion of the benefits given in the Virtual Account for the congregation must be greater than that used for the subsidy of the departing congregation so that during which self-fining can occur," said Fadlul as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 16. Previously, the Government had set the cost of organizing the Hajj pilgrimage (BPIH) 1444H/2023M amounting to Rp90,050,637.26. This figure is divided into Bipiah (numbers paid by the congregation) Rp49.8 million or 55.3 percent and the value of benefits managed by BPKH Rp40.2 million or 44.7 percent. After this stipulation, BPKH appealed to Indonesian pilgrims who had their turn to leave this year to immediately prepare themselves and complete all the necessary requirements. On the one hand, Fadlul also welcomed the revision of the Minister of Religion Regulation (PMA) regarding the rationalization of the amount of the initial deposit as well as the permissibility of paid deposits. "This is intended so that during the departure the congregation does not feel heavy," he said. In addition to agreeing on BPIH, Bipih, and the value of benefits, also imposed the clustering of the amount of the settlement with consideration of aspects of justice in the hajj congregation group. For the Hajj pilgrims that will be dispatched in 14444H/202023M as much as 84,609 people are not charged with additional costs.

The Hajj pilgrims paid off for the 1443/2022M delay as many as 9,864 people who will depart in 1444H/2023M will be charged with an additional payment fee of Rp9,400,000. Then, there were 106,590 Hajj pilgrims/2023M, which was charged with an additional payment fee of Rp23,500,000.
