The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Archipelago Province (Kemenkumham) Bangka Belitung (Babel) encouraged 189,405 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to register their intellectual property.

Head of the Babel Islands Kemenkumham Regional Office, Harun Sulianto, said the registration of intellectual property was to facilitate the development of family businesses and economies.

"Currently, only 566 of the 189,971 total MSMEs inBabel have received legal protection," he said in Pangkalpinang, Babel, Thursday, February 16, as reported by Antara.
