BOGOR - The Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of Bogor City observed that there are still many strategic projects centered in the central city area. On the other hand, the construction of sub-district offices on the edge of the region has not been maximized.

This was explained by Commission I of the Bogor City DPRD holding a working meeting (Raker) with sub-district heads throughout Bogor City. In this working meeting, the legislature tried to ask for a work plan report (Renja) in 2023 regarding regional development.

In this meeting were present, Chairman of Commission I, Heri Cahyono, Deputy Chairman of Commission I, Anna Mariam Fadhilah, Secretary of Commission I Fajari Arya Sugiarto along with members of Commission I Ade Azkiah, Endah Purwanti, Siti Maesaroh, Ence Setiawan and H. Mulyadi.

Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the Bogor City DPRD, Anna Mariam Fadhilah, said that based on the results of the development and program meeting in the final year of the leadership of Bogor Mayor Bima Arya, there has been no equitable development in the region.

This is because strategic projects are still centered around the city center. This can be seen from the conditions in the region, where in 2023, the construction of many urban villages offices has not been realized.

"So the sub-district head complained that the small infrastructure budget, small BOP and development that should be rushed should not be carried out. For example, construction and revitalization of the sub-district office. In fact, several sub-district offices have been reported to have suffered serious damage," explained Anna, Wednesday, February 15.

Furthermore, this PKS politician also asked the Bogor City Government, in this case the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor City, to immediately establish a budget arrangement to carry out the construction of sub-district offices during the upcoming 2023 Revised APBD.

"In our opinion, the kelurahan office is important because the kelurahan office is a representative of the Bogor city government in the region. If the kelurahan office cannot be used because it is damaged, how can services be carried out. Meanwhile, development that is not essential, such as parks, pedestrians can be given a budget," he said.

Not only that, the struggle of Commission I of the Bogor City DPRD to increase the sub-district infrastructure budget has not yet been realized by the Bogor City Government. Anna said that based on reports from the sub-district heads, the sub-district infrastructure budget was still at Rp75 million.

In fact, in the previous APBD discussion, the Bogor City Government had promised to prepare a budget of IDR 150 million for each kelurahan.

"Earlier we saw that our struggle to voice aspirations to increase the village budget had not been realized. We are very sad. I think this depends on the priorities and political will of regional leaders, now we as DPRD will certainly continue to voice the needs of these residents," explained Anna.

"At the same time, we will fight for an increase in the budget for the RT, RW and LPM BOPs, which have not increased for five years," he continued.

Based on the results of this meeting, later Commission I of the Bogor City DPRD will make recommendations and submit them to the Bogor City DPRD Budget Agency (Banggar) forum so that it can be followed up with TAPD.
