JABAR - The police have arrested a mobile ice cream seller following dozens of students at SD Negeri 2 Kersamenak, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, suspected of being poisoned by school snacks.
Garut Police Chief AKBP Rio Wahyu Anggoro said the ice cream seller was secured for questioning.

He revealed that the results of the temporary inspection of the ice cream seller were made by himself at home and had been selling since 2019 at a selling price of Rp. 2,000 for the packaging unit.
In a day, he said, the ice cream he made was able to sell for approximately two to three thousand ice cream packages with selling areas to schools.
"The ice cream he made in one day can be two thousand cups, sold at school," he said.
The police chief said that the results of the examination related to poisoning due to ice cream were still in doubt, because there were only 66 people who bought ice cream, while only 66 people were poisoned and only in one school.
