TANJUNGPINANG - The Class I Immigration Office of Tanjungpinang under the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Riau Islands opened a one-day passport-making service at a cost of IDR 1 million.
Head of Section (Kasi) Information Technology for Immigration Communication Technology Class I Immigration Office Tanjungpinang Ryawantri Nurfatimah said this aims to provide convenience for people who need passport acceleration services.
"This one-day passport service has been around for a long time," he said in Tanjungpinang, Antara, Wednesday, February 8.
The special lane passport service fee worth IDR 1 million is included in Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). However, that does not include the cost of issuing a passport book worth IDR 350 thousand.
"So the overall cost is IDR 1,350,000.", said Ryawantri.
He said that the applicant who wanted to arrange for the acceleration of this passport must come to the Tajungpinang Class I Immigration Office before 11.00 WIB. Applicants must bring complete requirements, such as ID cards, diplomas, marriage books to family cards.
"The applicant does not need to register online or online. Just come to the office," he said.
So far, the people of Tanjungpinang's interest in special lane passport services is still minimal. According to him, applicants who access this service are people who are in urgent circumstances.
“You could say, those who are really urgent who apply for the passport acceleration,” he said.
