Ada Pembangunan MRT, Dishub Renayasa Lalin Di Sekitar Tugu Jam MH Thamrin Hingga 15 Juni

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering around the MH Thamrin Road Jam Monument in connection with the continued work on the MRT Jakarta phase 2 construction in the CP-201 segment.

Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, revealed that the work that resulted in traffic engineering was carried out from February 12, 2023 to June 15, 2023.

"The location of the work that has an impact on traffic diversion is Jalan MH Thamrin starting from the National Monument / Horse Statue Fountain Roundabout to the MRT Station at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout," Syafrin said in his statement, Wednesday, February 8.

Syafrin explained that the type of work carried out was power blenders for land stability improvement, barrier wall work for the construction of the west-south side of the diaphragm wall, jet grouting work for land strengthening, installation of the west side of the king post station, decking installation on the east side.

The traffic engineering carried out during construction work, namely: a. Traffic from the east of Jalan Kebon Sirih heading west (Tanah Abang) which originally crossed the Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin Tugu Jam was diverted and turned left turning at the Hotel Indonesia roundabout.

b. Traffic from the east of Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan which will go to the west (Tanah Abang) which originally crossed the Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin Tugu Jam is diverted through Jalan Budi Kemuliaan-Jalan Abdul Muis and so on.

c. Traffic from the east of Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim which will go west (Tanah Abang) which originally crossed the intersection of Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin Tugu Jam was diverted straight through KH Wahid Hasyim and so on.

d. Traffic from the south of Jalan H. Agus Salim which will head west (Tanah Abang) which originally crossed the Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin Tugu Jam was diverted to turn left through K. H Wahid Hasyim and so on.

In addition, Syafrin said that there were two Transjakarta corridors that also experienced route changes, namely Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang Terminal (5M) and Senen-Tanah Abang Terminal (1R).

"The route for transiting Transjakarta 5M, which originally crossed the Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin in Tugu Jam, was diverted through Jalan Budi Kemuliaan-Jalan Abdul Muis and so on," said Syafrin.

"The Transjakarta 1R transportation route, which originally crossed the Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan MH Thamrin in Tugu Jam, was diverted through Jalan Budi Kemuliaan-Jalan Abdul Muis and so on," he continued.

Furthermore, Syafrin revealed that the Shimizu-Adhi Karya Joint Venture as the executor of phase 2 MRT construction work CP-201 is fully responsible for the safety and security of road users at work locations.
