JAKARTA - The Bantul Regency Government issued an appeal to schools regarding school principals and teachers' vigilance on child kidnapping cases during school hours. But in this area there is no report.

"This is actually a form of vigilance not to let it happen. And is there Bantul? We haven't and we say hopefully it won't happen," said Head of the Bantul Youth and Sports Education Office Isdarmoko in Bantul, Wednesday, February 8, quoted by Antara.

According to him, the circular of vigilance was conveyed in early February to schools ranging from kindergarten (TK) to junior high school levels. In essence, schools remain careful with the rampant news of child kidnapping on social media.

"That's why I submit the appeal letter so that the principal coordinates with the regional coordinator level, then from the sub-district head, Koramil, the police with the service there is a meeting to sit together, how to overcome or prevent it from happening," he said.

Isdarmoko said, in the appeal, among other things, schools should increase their vigilance, one of which is during rest hours, teachers should not be in all teacher rooms, not in the office, but must monitor children's activities in the school environment.

"Then also when the time came home the teacher also confirmed, accompanying the children before being picked up by their parents, the teacher should not go home," he said.

He said, then when the extracurricular activities at schools are usually in the afternoon, or after the lesson hours end, teachers form a schedule for monitoring and monitoring children.

"When it is extracurricular, it usually doesn't have to be the teacher himself, there are teachers from outside, so I make sure schools have to form picket teams, so that when there are extra activities from teachers, it's not just coaches or guides from outside," he said.

Furthermore, he said, the school must always provide education to parents and students, to remain vigilant.

"And we are also monitoring through supervisory supervisors, and there are already several schools that have meetings with sub-districts, police, for anticipatory or preventive steps. This vigilance is valid until the atmosphere is conducive," he said.
