The Golkar-PKS Meeting Turned Out To Be "Applicating 1 Important THING", What's That?

Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP Ahmad Doli Kurnia explained that his party meeting with the elite Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) had agreed on one thing, keeping the atmosphere of national conducive.

"The election is a contestation between political parties, but we agree that as leaders of political parties it has an obligation to maintain a conducive national atmosphere so that all elements of society can be actively involved in election preparations," said Ahmad Doli Kurnia when giving a press statement at the Golkar DPP Office, Jakarta, Tuesday 7 February.

He explained that the meeting both talked about the maturation of the life of the nation and state, where Indonesia is a great nation.

"We want to maintain the maturation of national life by maintaining the attitude or periodization of the implementation of democracy that can be carried out properly," he explained.

Doli stated that the meeting strengthened the institutions of each political party.

"We respect each other's political positions. Golkar parties must be open to dialogue with anyone, not to see political positions within the government or outside the ongoing government," he said.

The Golkar Party, said Doli, respects the authority, independence of each political party, and the attitude of their respective political parties to compete in the 2024 General Election. However, he said, in the context of nationality and the state must prioritize unity and togetherness.

Meanwhile, Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Habib Aboe Bakar Allhabsy said the friendship was to make the atmosphere conducive to facing the 2024 General Election.

He emphasized that the PKS friendship brought a message so that the scheduled election atmosphere could run well.

"Scheduled well, honestly, fairly, and can get the best election results," he hoped.
