JAKARTA - Wearing a minor suffered burns due to being doused with hot water on his back. The girl with the initials ARV (14) was found lying in pain at RT01/03, Pancoran Mas Depok.

Depok Hospital Director Devi Maryori said ARV suffered 27 percent burns due to being doused with hot water. After being found, the victim was immediately rushed to the Depok Hospital for treatment.

Devi explained that the victim will be subjected to a debridement operation. The goal is to remove the infected dead skin tissue (nechromatic) to help cure the wound.

He added that when the victim was taken to the hospital, the victim's injuries were attached to clothes. This condition made the victim strain in pain.

"We received the 14-year-old child yesterday afternoon to be escorted by residents. Well, the child was brought here with a hotbed wound," Devi told reporters, Monday, February 6.

"Then we went to the ER, then we did the management and was handled by a surgeon," he continued.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Depok Metro Police, AKBP Eko Wahyu Fredian, said that when he received the information, he immediately assigned his staff to check at the Depok Hospital.

"First we do it is to coordinate with regard to financing, it has been coordinated with the mother of the president director of the RSUD, Kadinkes, then the Depok City Government Child Protection Service. To declare later related to financing, it has been completed by the Depok City Government," he said.

Meanwhile, to investigate the incident, the police have examined two witnesses.
