JIS's 'homework' Is Still Large, Now It's The Turn Of The DKI Jakarta Highways Service Which Will Continue Access Widening

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Highways Agency has built sidewalks for public transportation stops and pedestrians in Papanggo, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, as part of the continuation of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) access widening project.

"The construction of road access at JIS consists of several jobs. One of them has been completed by widening Jalan Sunter Permai," said DKI Jakarta Highways and Bridge Development and Development Sub-Coordinator Ricky Janus to reporters in North Jakarta, Monday, February 6.

Ricky said that the work on Jalan Sunter Permai that had been completed included road construction and channel construction work.

Now, the capacity radius is after Jalan Sunter Permai after widening reached four vehicles, wider than before, only two vehicles.

Furthermore, in 2023, sidewalk facilities will be carried out for public transportation stops and pedestrians. The completion of the facility is targeted this year.

In addition, Ricky explained about Ramp Papanggo's plan. Ramp Papanggo is a connecting access from the Inner City Toll Road, precisely at KM 15 Ancol to JIS and vice versa.

In the short term, it is currently being built across the front of the east side of the Ring Reservoir, Bisma Street, Sunter Taman Agung Housing, and then Sunter Permai Raya Street. As for the long-term development plan, it will go through Jalan Bisma Raya.

According to Ricky, later by crossing the ramp, the vehicle can go through Jalan Danau Bisma to reach JIS.

"This means that when the sidewalk is completed, it will also organize the spaces next to JIS so that it will be neat," said Ricky.
