Visiting Ponpes In Gunung Kidul, Mahfud MD Pesan Bekali Santri In English

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Human Rights (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD invited the management of the Darul Qur'an Wal Irsyad Islamic Boarding School (Ponpes) in Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), to be able to adapt to keep up with the times.

Mahfud MD in Gunung Kidul, Sunday, saw that several Islamic boarding schools had been able to adapt as in the Darul Qur'an Wal Irsyad Islamic boarding school, not only in ancient education but had been equipped with knowledge such as Arabic and English, and the school was open.

"We advise the leaders of the boarding school that Islamic boarding schools must be developed in accordance with the character of their stance on the benefit of progress for Muslims who are independent countries. But within an independent country it is inclusive and cosmodic," said Mahfud MD after visiting Darul Qur'an Wal Irsyad, Sunday, February 5, was confiscated by Antara.
