DKI PPP DPW Management Dirombak, 2 Haji Lulung Children Choose To Leave The Party

JAKARTA - Guruh Tirta Lunggana and Riano Ahmad resigned as PPP cadres after the reshuffle of the position of administrators of the DKI Jakarta PPP Regional Leadership Council (DPW). Both are the sons of the late Abraham Lunggana alias Haji Lulung.

Guruh and Riano have sent their resignation letter to Plt. Chairman of PPP Muhammad Mardiono as of February 3.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, I declare that I will quit the United Development Party as of February 3, 2023. Thus I make this statement consciously and no coercion from any party can be used properly," wrote Guruh and Riano in their respective resignation letters, quoted on Sunday, February 5.

Guruh confirmed the resignation letters. In a short message, Guruh admitted that he had said goodbye to the party bearing the Kaaba after 8 months as a PPP cadre since June 2022.

"Yes, it is true that I have submitted a letter of resignation to the PPP DPP since February 3 yesterday. I said goodbye and resigned from the PPP party," said Guruh.

"I would like to thank my colleagues from the DPW management. I also apologize for all the mistakes and mistakes in the Khidmah that have been together for about 9 months I became the Chair of the DKI PPP DPW," he continued.

As is known, Guruh was removed from his position as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PPP DPW through Decree Number 0790/SK/DPP/W/I/2023 concerning Ratification of Changes in the Management Structure of the Regional Leadership Council of the United Development Party of DKI Jakarta Province for the 2021-2026 Service Period.

In the latest decree, there is an arrangement, including the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta PPP DPW Syaiful Rahmat, Guruh Tirta Lunggana Secretary, Junaedi Deputy Secretary, Hermansyah Deputy Secretary, Treasurer Mujahid Samal, Deputy Treasurer Mulyadi, and Deputy Treasurer Sumartini.

The reshuffle of the DKI PPP DPW positions was allegedly caused by the decision of the DKI PPP Regional Working Meeting (Rakerwil) and the Branch Working Conference (Muskercab) of the PPP DPC throughout DKI Jakarta in 2022. At that time, Guruh Tirta issued a recommendation to the PPP DPP to support Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
