BOLAANG MongonDOW - Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi continues to record residents' houses that were flooded due to heavy rains, on Wednesday.

"The team continues to collect data even though we already have the data in our hands," said Head of BPBD Bolaang Mongondow Syahril Mokoagow accompanied by the Head of Emergency, Abdul Muin, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, February 5.

BPBD responded quickly after receiving a public report through the Pusdalops Call Center in the incident by deploying personnel from the disaster management rapid reaction team to conduct a rapid assessment of the affected areas.

Data collection on flood-affected areas is currently being carried out by TRC personnel. BPBD Bolaang Mongondow has also coordinated with the North Sulawesi National Road Hall for efforts to deal with landslides using excavators.

BPBD Bolaang Mongondow has also coordinated with the TNI/Polri and the Transportation Service to regulate road access that is blocked by landslides.

"The obstacle we are facing is the wide coverage of flood disasters and the weather conditions in some areas are still raining," he said.

"Thanks to Pusdalops-PB, TRC-PB, TNI/Polri, BPJN North Sulawesi, Transportation Service, Social Service Tagana, village and sub-district governments, even volunteers who quickly responded to this flood and landslide disaster," he said.
