17 Will Candidates For DPD Members Of The Riau Islands Electoral District Release Administration, This Is The List

TANJUNGPINANG - A total of 17 candidates for DPD members of the Riau Islands Province electoral district have passed administrative verification. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Riau Islands, Sriwati, in a plenary meeting held on Saturday, February 4.

Will candidates for DPD members for the Riau Islands electoral district who meet administrative requirements include David Farel S, Dharma Setiawan, Dwi Ajeng Sekar Respaty, Gerry Yasid, Hardi Selamat hood, Haripinto Tanuwidjaja, and Hotman Hutapea.

Then there are also the names Ria Saptarika, Richard Hamonangan Pasaribu, Sirajudin Nur, Stephanie Gerard Martogi, Alias Wello, Andhika Bintang Prasetya, Ismeth Abdullah, Juanda, Raja Imran Hanafi, and Sunarto Poniman.

Sriwati explained that the next stage is factual verification of the minimum requirement for voter support for prospective DPD members. This stage will take place from 6 - 26 February 2023.

If voter support is found that does not or does not meet the requirements, it must be improved.

"There is still an opportunity to improve voter support requirements that do not or do not meet the requirements," he said.

Meanwhile, member of the Riau Islands Bawaslu emphasized that his party did not find any violations in the implementation of the administrative verification stage of the minimum voter support requirements for prospective candidates for DPD RI members for the Riau Islands electoral district.

"Based on the results of our inherent supervision during that stage, we conclude that the implementation of these stages is in accordance with applicable procedures, provisions and regulations," he said.

Indrawan reminded all candidates for DPD RI members to prepare liaison officers who can coordinate with election organizers in implementing the factual verification stage. Liaison should participate in supervising the implementation of the stage.

They must also be able to explain the findings of the verification team in the field so that miscommunication does not occur.

"Tenaga penghubung bakal calon anggota DPD juga dapat menginput informasi terkait temuan di lapangan untuk segera diperbaiki sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku," katanya.
