The Mayor Of Surabaya Prepares Accommodation And Consumption For Residents Present In 1 NU Century

JAKARTA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi has prepared transportation to the consumption of residents who want to attend the commemoration of a century of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, February 7.

"So, later we will prepare transportation, consumption. We will also escort it by ambulance, and we will alert portable toilets there," said Eri Cahyadi during a meeting with the Ministry of Religion of the City of Surabaya and Muslims at the Surabaya City Hall, Friday, February 3.

Residents of Surabaya who will attend the NU Century have coordinated with the Surabaya Ministry of Religion, Muslims, and also the Nahdlatul Ulama (MWCNU) Deputy Branch Council. Therefore, later the Surabaya City Government will prepare vehicles or transportation for them.

"In fact, they will also be escorted by the Surabaya Police because they are looking for difficult buses now. Usually it is in Malang, but it turns out to be used by Malang itself, in other places like that," said Cak Eri, his nickname.

Cak Eri said he was grateful because it turned out that the Surabaya Police Chief had prepared 25 buses, later the school bus and the new feeder belonging to the Surabaya City Government would also be issued to the Surabaya residents who would attend the 1-century NU Harlah. In fact, later the city government official cars will also be issued.

"Hopefully those who go there will run smoothly and safely and safely start leaving until they return home," he said.

According to Eri, currently around 7 thousand people can be facilitated, so that later there will be several buses used to take them to Sidoarjo. However, to be sure how many people will be facilitated and how many buses will be used will be reunited on Saturday (4/2) tomorrow.

"At the meeting, it must be ascertained how many people will be facilitated, how many buses or how many vehicles will be used, the gathering points are anywhere, and who the people are have been confirmed, so that the departure time is no longer difficult," he said.

In addition to ensuring its transportation, Cak Eri also ensures that he will coordinate with the ranks in Sidoarjo regarding vehicle parking lots, placement of portable toilets, and placement of ambulances. Because, he is sure that later at the event, the traffic flow there will be crowded and there will be many groups.

Amir Sholehuddin expressed his gratitude to Mayor Eri and the Surabaya City Government for taking into account the interests of the people, especially those who will attend the NU Century in Sidoarjo.

Of course, he said, this will further increase his enthusiasm with the ustadzah who will attend this very rare momentum.

"Alhamdulillah, the Mayor also said that consumption will also be prepared, I've also thought about consumption, if you go in the morning until noon how you consume it. Thank God it will be assisted by the Mayor, so now I'm coming home to be calm, I don't think about it anymore. Hopefully everything goes smoothly," he said.
