The Semarang City Land Office said there were around 6,000 plots of land that had not been touched by the free land certification program. He targets the program through complete systematic land registration (PTSL) to be completed in 2023.
"For the past three years, we have issued 75 thousand PTSL certificates," said Head of the Semarang City Land Office Sigit Rachmawan Adhi in Semarang, Central Java, Friday, February 3, as reported by Antara.
This was conveyed during the declaration of the Patas Gema (Community Movement for the Installation of Limits) in the Tinjomoyo Tourism Forest, Semarang.
PTSL is the land registration process for the first time which is carried out simultaneously and includes all objects of land registration that have not been registered in a village or sub-district or other names that are at that level.
Through the PTSL program, the government provides guarantees of legal certainty or rights to land owned by the community.
This year, said Sigit, the National Land Agency (BPN) plans to issue around 6,000 PTSL certificates so that there are a total of 81,000 certificates.
"It is hoped that with around 81 thousand certificates, all land parcels will be registered and certified," he said.
Meanwhile, Semarang Mayor Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu expressed hope that the land certification program in Atlas City would be completed by the end of this year.
"Today, a certificate of PTSL results was handed over to the people of Gunungpati sub-district, through representatives of Sukorejo residents. A total of 51 residents received, while the total PTSL Gunungpati was 1,700," said Ita, Hevearita's nickname.
According to him, PTSL certificates in 2023 will gradually be submitted to the public through roadshows in each sub-district.
"According to President Joko Widodo's direction, this certification program must be completed in a maximum of 2025. However, this year's Semarang City is targeted to be completed because there are only 6,000 fields left," he said.
Not to forget, Ita expressed her gratitude to the Semarang City Land BPN/Office for collaborating so that the city of Semarang received appreciation from the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN).
"Pada saat kemarin rakornas, yang dihadiri seluruh pejabat Forkopimda se-Indonesia, kemudian Menteri, dan Pak Presiden. Kota Semarang mendapat apresiasi satu-satunya dari Menteri ATR/BPN. Pak Menteri menyampaikan bahwa ada contoh yang baik yaitu di Kota Semarang," katanya.
