Acting Head of the Mataram Search and Rescue Office Muhdar said the body of Yusuf Ibrahim (50), a resident who was reported to have been swept away during the flood, was found on Friday afternoon.

"The resident of Dena Village was found dead about 200 meters from the scene this afternoon," he said as quoted in a press statement from the Mataram Search and Rescue Office, Friday, February 3.

He said that the victim's body had been evacuated and handed over to the family for burial.

According to reports received by the Mataram Search and Rescue Office, Yusuf was dragged by the flood currents while passing through the area around the dam after returning from the mountainous area on Thursday (2/2) afternoon.

A joint SAR team was deployed to search for Yusuf since Thursday (2/2) and managed to find his body on Friday afternoon in a watershed in Dena Village, Madapangga District.

The search for Dena Village residents involved rescue teams from the Bima SAR Post, TNI, Polri, and the Bima Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency, as well as local residents, as reported by Antara.
