Mahfud MD Visits Bantul Orphanages To Submit Religious Messages

Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD visited the Siwi Orphanage, a special disabled orphanage in Sendangsari Village, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. On that occasion, Mahfud conveyed a religious message. "Regarding this orphanage, my message is that this is a form of implementation of our sense of religiousism in accordance with the guidance of the state ideology and the state constitution," said Mahfud MD after visiting an orphanage in Bantul, Antara, Friday, February 3. Mahfud said the core of the whole struggle to establish this country is to maintain human dignity. "These are many people who are unlucky like us, so that they have abnormalities, deficiencies, intellectuals, physical and so on, low IQ and so on is our job," he said. Therefore, Mahfud said, the government would be very proud when there were private parties who had a sense of concern for those who were unlucky by raising through this Orphanage. "So I say the government is very happy that there are private people for the creativeness of the citizens themselves who are supported by the local government, sub-districts and so on, so there are orphanages like this," he said. The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs also appealed to all Indonesian people to imitate and do what the caregivers of the special disabled orphanages or persons with disabilities do. "The government is very grateful, and I urge all people to do that, not only here, but throughout Indonesia for the sake of humanity," he said.
