Chairman of the Democratic Party's Organizational, Cadreization and Membership Development Agency (BPOKK), Herman Khaeron, said that his party did not yet know whether the presidential candidate (candidate) supported by his party, Anies Baswedan, would continue the construction of the State Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago or not. The reason, said Herman, is that a small team consisting of NasDem, Democrats and PKS have not discussed the micro presidential and vice presidential candidates program that will be carried out in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. According to him, until now the discussion in the new small team is just a discussion. "Not even to the micro program, we are still talking about the general thing," said Herman Khaeron when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, February 2. However, Herman confirmed, Anies will run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election, because he already holds a ticket of 20 percent. Currently, he said, the three political parties are working on a 'Change Coalition' to make it more solid. "Currently, the Change Coalition, namely PD, NasDem, and PKS, is getting more solid and ensuring that Mas Anies Baswedan already has a ticket for prospective presidential candidates, because he has received 20 percent presidential threshold minimum support," said Herman. Previously, the Secretary General (Secretary General) of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, said that General Chair Prabowo Subianto would continue the construction of the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago, if he was elected president of the Republic of Indonesia in the upcoming 2024 General Election. Muzani said that apart from continuing development policies in the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), Prabowo also wanted to realize the ideals of the old President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soekarno or Bung Karno to move the capital city to Kalimantan. "Our national hero Tjilik Riwut once conveyed the idea to move the capital city to Bung Karno to Kalimantan. And Bung Karno agreed," Muzani told reporters, Thursday, February 2. However, due to the political dynamics at that time, it was not possible, said Muzani, the discussion did not continue. Therefore, Gerindra is determined to win Prabowo in the 2024 presidential election later. "But what does that mean? That Indonesia's future is on the earth of Kalimantan. Our determination to make Central Kalimantan Prabowo's base, we must work hard for it," explained Muzani. The Deputy Chairperson of the MPR also revealed that Gerindra's goal to make Prabowo Subianto, as president of the Republic of Indonesia, was to carry out the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. Because according to Muzani, the extraordinary wealth contained in Indonesia must be used for the prosperity and welfare of the people, not yet realized. "Has our people enjoyed that wealth? That's why Gerindra wants President Prabowo 2024. Because the purpose of power that we want to achieve later is only one meaning, making the Indonesian people smile looking at his future," said Muzani.
