Mardiono also introduced the Aceh figure who joined PPP, namely Tarmizi Abdul Karim. He hopes that the joining of the former acting Governors of East Kalimantan, Aceh and South Kalimantan can be a symbol of a common struggle.
"This is solely a sincerity to participate in fighting to lead the people of Aceh to prosperity, inner and outer life, in one struggle," he continued.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Aceh PPP DPW Amiruddin Idris admitted that he would continue to work hard for PPP's victory in the upcoming 2024 General Election.
"We have mapped, God willing, the target of DPR members two (preserving the existing ones), Provincial DPRD 10, and Regency/City DPRD 63 seats. We will rise again to fight for PPP," said Amiruddin.
