Panic When ICU Bandung Kiwari Hospital Burns, A New Born Baby Isvacuated To The ER

JAKARTA - The intensive care unit (ICU) of the Bandung Kiwari Regional General Hospital on Jalan Wahid Hasyim (Kopo), Bandung City, West Java caught fire. Panic hit this hospital.

Patients had to be evacuated outside the building. The fire occurred in the ICU room on the fourth floor. The fire started at around 07.00 WIB. Reportedly, until 08.00 WIB earlier, officers were still struggling to extinguish the fire.

Patients on the upper floor have been evacuated to the lowest floor. In addition, newborns have also been evacuated to the lowest floor, precisely to the emergency room area.

Head of the Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Agency Gun Gun Sumaryana explained that he had dispatched a fire team from the center.

"Because this is a vital object," said Gun Gun at the scene, Wednesday, February 1, as reported by Antara.

Gun Gun ensured that there were no victims as a result of the fire. His party also continues to cool so that the fire does not return to light. "The fire is already being handled, cooling is still being carried out," said Gun Gun. The fire at the Bandung Kiwari Hospital had occurred in April 2022. The fire that occurred at that time was almost similar to what is happening today. Even though the fire was not large, the patient was still evacuated, because it prevented the risk of an emergency.
