Furthermore, he said, the divorce rate throughout 2022 is estimated to increase by about 5 percent from the previous year, but it did not affect the number, at which time the working area of the Baubau Religious Courts included Bombana and Wakatobi Regencies.

In an effort to reduce the number of divorces, especially early marriage, said Idris, his party together with the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in the area have only signed a work agreement (MoU) to provide counseling when someone is married underage.
"To anticipate divorce from the public, there are also several related agencies to work together, meaning that there we are integrated to provide counseling, especially those who are the forerunners of victims (divorce or underage marriages), because this is what young marriages usually are high school children, for example, so in the future we need to program down to school for socialization," he said.
