The evidence was found in the arrest of brothers with the initials AK (33) and SA (25) at AK's in-laws' house where both of them run a vehicle repair workshop in the Taman neighborhood, Karang Baru Village, Mataram City. "We arrested both of them last weekend while consuming methamphetamine. The arrests were based on public information," he said. From the scattering, found evidence of methamphetamine in clear plastic clips of various sizes with dozens of packages. "So, all the evidence was secured from two places. First, at the workshop where we were arrested. The second place is at the kiosk in front of his father-in-law's house," he said. Kasatresnarkoba Polresta Mataram Kompol Yogi Purusa Utama also said that in handling this case investigators had pocketed the statements of the two perpetrators regarding the origins of the drugs. As soon as he arrived in Mataram, he gave the item to AK's brother. "From where he took the methamphetamine, SA admitted that he was asked to sell Rp. 1 million per gram. He said he was given a debt first, to pay later," he said. Furthermore, AK also admitted that he kept the items in two found locations, namely at AK's in-laws' house which is also a place for the repair workshop for vehicles and kiosks in front of the house. "The two locations are said to be where AK often conducts buying and selling transactions," he said. The role of the two perpetrators as dealers was also strengthened by evidence of findings in the form of bundles of empty plastic clips and cash allegedly the result of drug transactions. In the press conference, SA admitted that he had been an active user of methamphetamine, which was for 7 years. Meanwhile, AK admitted that it was only the last 1 year that he had consumed methamphetamine. Furthermore, Yogi said that the handling of this case was still ongoing at the investigation stage which led to criminal charges in Article 112 paragraph (2) and/or Article 114 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. "Because we made the arrest last weekend, we are still waiting for the results of laboratory tests, both urine and evidence. If it is already there, we will hold it and determine the status of the two perpetrators," said Yogi.
