Megawati Flew To Semarang, Ganjar Pranowo And His Wife At Lanumad Ahmad Yani

Megawati Soekarnoputri visited Semarang City, Monday, January 30. Her arrival was greeted directly by the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo and a number of regional heads in Central Java.

Megawati visited Semarang to attend the inauguration of Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu as Mayor of Semarang. He and his entourage arrived at Ahmad Yani Air Base Semarang at around 11.11 WIB using a special plane.

Ganjar accompanied by his wife, Siti Atikoh, and regional heads are waiting at the Ahmad Yani Lanumad transit site.

After about 15 minutes of transit, Megawati Soekarnoputri's entourage and Ganjar Pranowo went straight to Gradhika Bhakti Praja Building, Central Java Governor's Office Complex.

Arriving at the Central Java Governor's Office, Megawati received a lively welcome from the people of Semarang City. They filled the parking lot of the Central Java Governor's Office since morning.

"Welcome to the person we really miss. Thank you for the presence of Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri. We are happy that Mrs. Mega is pleased to attend this inauguration," said Ganjar when giving a speech at the inauguration of the Mayor of Semarang for the remaining 2021-2025 term at the Gradhika Bhakti Praja Building.

On that occasion, Ganjar also greeted the group that accompanied Megawati Soekarnoputri. Among them are the Secretary General of the PDI-P, Hasto Kristiyanto and the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati. Also the Head of the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute as well as the former Mayor of Semarang, Hendrar Prihadi.

"Thank you for being present, Mr. Hasto and all ranks of the PDI-P DPD. Also present is Mrs. Bintang, thank you for attending. Mr. Hendi thank you for coming. Also all my regional heads and PDI-P cadres who attended," said Ganjar.
