Deputy Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhanas) Lieutenant General TNI Mohamad Sabrar Fadhilah stated that the establishment of Pancasila values is very important in dealing with global threats.

"We must always instill this national value and remind us to be able to join hands against the various threats and challenges we face," said Sabrar in Banda Aceh, Monday, January 30, as reported by Antara.

Fadhilah said that currently global threats continue to be high and it also affects other countries because life between nations around the world has become interconnected.

He gave an example, conflicts of big countries such as war between Russia and Ukraine as well as economic competition between America and China also have an impact on living conditions in the country.

"It hurts there, the effect feels here, because from there there is an effect of supply chain delay and has an impact on the economic sector and so on, it is a part that we must be aware of," he said.

Not only that, said Fadhilah, threats also arise in the country which should be watched out for. Especially, during the upcoming election season there are things that may increase tension in people's lives.

"It is only natural that the election has increased tension. However, we hope that this tension will warm up and carry out democracy properly in accordance with our four basic consensus," he said.

Therefore, continued Fadhilah, as a nation that coexists with other nations, Lemhanas RI continues to strive to strengthen the values of Pancasila to increase national resilience and the progress of the nation and state.

"The point of these national values is understanding and reminding again about the four basic national consensus, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, National Resilience and so on," he said.

He hopes that with the collective determination and understanding of the values of Pancasila, all global threats that appear can be faced together.

"Hopefully, by understanding that with threats that continue to be dynamic, everything can go well in reality to lead to a better Indonesia," he said.
