Polda Metro Jaya will immediately take legal steps related to the riots carried out by football supporters after the match between Liga 1 Indonesia between Persita Tangerang and Persis Solo at the Indomilk Stadium, Tangerang Regency, Saturday, January 28.

"The alleged perpetrators are still in the process of being investigated, currently several names have been secured to explore the available evidence," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Sunday, January 29.

Based on information from Kombes Trunoyudo, the South Tangerang Police have taken steps to investigate, underlying reports from Persis Solo.

"Of course this step is an evaluation of events, for security," he said.

Kombes Trunoyudo stated that the Polda Metro Jaya had collected various evidences of the incident.

"We have collected evidence such as TKP checks, asking for witness statements, then checking related to CCTV around the crime scene," he said.

Previously, the actions of the gang of supporters allegedly threw stones at the bus carrying the players and the Official Persis Solo with stones. In the video uploaded to the Instagram account @timasday45, it can be seen that the actions of the group of supporters threw stones at the windshield of the bus carrying the players and the official team Persis Solo broke.

The South Tangerang Police then arrested seven perpetrators who were suspected of being involved in throwing stones at the bus carrying players and the Official Persis Solo team. Previously, there were two suspected perpetrators who had been arrested first. They are HK (23) and GR (18).
