SLEMAN - Sleman Regent, Yogyakarta Special Region, Kustini Sri Purnomo said, there are still many parking managers in the Sleman area who have not obtained official permits. "It is undeniable that there are still many parking managers operating but do not have official permits," said Kustini when inaugurating 40 administrators of the Sleman Semuda Parking Forum (Foparmanda) at the Sleman Regent's Office Hall, Antara, Thursday, January 26. He hopes that with Foparmanda there will be efforts to invite parking managers or parking attendants who have not officially joined the Foparmanda so as to minimize problems in the field. "It is also hoped that Foparmanda will communicate and invite parking managers and parking attendants who have not joined to participate so that they can jointly carry out various programs as a form of Foparmanda's existence," he said. According to him, the establishment of Foparmanda can support development in the Sleman area because it has a positive contribution to PAD Sleman Regency. The inauguration of the Foparmanda management was marked by the submission of the Composite Decree to the Head of Foparmanda. This Foparmanda is an organization that was formed on the basis of the initiative of parking managers and parking attendants in the Sleman area which was then facilitated by the Sleman Regency Transportation Service to be confirmed into a forum / association. Head of Foparmanda Prasetyo Budi Utomo said that the establishment of the Foparmanda aims to provide services to the community regarding vehicle parking in an orderly, safe and comfortable manner. "Foparmanda has become a partner of the Sleman Regency Government which has contributed positively to increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) from the parking sector," he said. He said that Foparmanda's task was to build understanding and partnership with the Sleman Regency Government in parking management, provide data and information to the Sleman Regency Government regarding parking issues, parking managers and parking attendants who are members of Foparmanda. "In addition, it provides advocacy, assistance, recommendations and facilitation to the anggora of Foparmanda," he said.
