Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono voiced that the Ciliwung-East Flood Canal (KBT) River drain project cost up to IDR 1.2 trillion.

"Because this is from the Ciliwung river, if it has opened alert four, it will reduce 33 cubic meters per second. It's really big. Then if you are on alert one as much as 63 cubic meters per second. Because the channel is right 3.2 meters left of the tunnel 3.25 meters along 1.3 km. If it is functioning, it will reduce flooding in Jakarta," said Jokowi.

In addition, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta also said that other programs would be carried out to reduce flooding in Jakarta, starting from normalization 12 times in Jakarta, including Ciliwung, as well as the completion of the Ancol Sentiong pump. "I have ordered the sign north of the tidal flood, both with the sea wall and with the seawall giant," said Jokowi.
