Updated For COVID-19 As Of January 23: 119 Positives

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 17,558 specimens were examined with the results of 119 people confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,728,184 people," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Monday, January 23.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 445 cases, bringing the total to 6,562,268 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died 7 and a total of 160,788 people.

Still referring to data from the Ministry of Health, the province with the highest new cases was DKI Jakarta with 45 cases. So the total reached 1,538,950 cases.

Followed by West Java with 22 new cases. Then, East Java and Banten with the addition of 12 cases per day.

Then, for the province with the most recovered cases, namely Central Java with 160 cases. Then, DKI Jakarta with 102 cases.

On the other hand, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens to date has reached 114,605,220.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people for today is 0.88 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 542 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 204,184,380 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 175,010,804 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 69,215,619 people. Then, about 1,234,896 people have received the fourth dose. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
