2023 Chinese New Year Holiday, Pertamina Jamin Stock Fuel In West Sumatra Safe

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga guarantees the availability of fuel oil (BBM) in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) is safe during the 2023 Chinese New Year holiday.

Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Region of North Sumatra (Sumbagut), Susanto August Satria said, his party also guarantees the availability of LPG and Avtur in West Sumatra is safe and smooth.

"We continue to coordinate both internally and externally so that the stock and distribution of fuel, LPG and avtur can run smoothly and safely," Susanto said in a written statement, Sunday, January 22.

According to him, currently the average daily distribution of Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo type fuel in West Sumatra is 2,147 kilo liters per day.

As for Gasoil type fuel, Solar, Dexlite, Pertamina Dex is 1,472 kilo liters per day. Then his party ensures that the facilities for Fuel Terminal, Integrated Terminal, LPG Depot and Aircraft Filling Depot (DPPU) operate normally and optimally.

"This is done in anticipation of an increase in energy consumption in the community," he said, quoted by Antara.

He also revealed that during the 2023 Christmas and New Year Task Force, the consumption of Avtur type aircraft fuel increased by 35 percent above the realization of Avtur consumption the previous year in Sumbagut.

According to him, the peak increase in Avtur needs occurred on December 22, 2022, with consumption of 893 kilo liters.

Meanwhile, the lowest aviation fuel needs occurred on December 30, 2022, with consumption of 618 Kilo Liter in Sumbagut.

"We project that ahead and during this Chinese New Year celebration there will also be an increase in avtur consumption and we ensure that our sarfas is ready to anticipate the increase in demand", he said.
