TANGERANG Film producer Girry admitted that he deliberately dragged a private bank to the court for selling his car without notification, so that the public would understand the law. Moreover, in his case, the bank that sells cars without notifying the owner is an unlawful act. Even though the car is still in installments.

Girry said, after listening to the testimony of expert witnesses at the trial held at the Tangerang District Court, he said he was satisfied. Because there it was clear that his actions, processing creditors' laws, were correct.

"It turns out that what I did was right. So it's not a matter of goods, prices or anything. We in Indonesia have applicable laws, whether they want to be sold, do it according to the law that defends them, that's all. According to experts, they clearly don't comply with the procedure," explained Girry.

He also explained that the case was brought to the court to clear his poor name in bank verification or BI Checking.

"I looked at the track record with BI checking. My car has been auctioned, and will appear in BI checking. Meanwhile, as an entrepreneur, if it is exposed to BI checking, it will definitely be flawed. I want to clean it up," he said.

Furthermore, Girry hopes that the bank can fulfill its rights according to procedures. He admitted that he did not want to take advantage of the actions that had been done.

I still hope that my rights are fulfilled and finished well. I'm not made up, I'm just the car I reversed according to the price. I don't want to be complicated. I didn't ask for any harm," he concluded.
