BENGKULU - Investigators from the Central Bengkulu District Attorney's Office (Kejari) said that for the time being the state losses incurred related to the alleged corruption case of the Pematang Tiga Village Fund (DD), Pematang Tiga District, Central Bengkulu Regency reached Rp250 million. "It is estimated that state losses will be greater than the investigative audit that has been carried out. Where the results of the interim audit found state losses of around Rp. 250 million more," said Head of Intelligence Section of the Central Bengkulu Kejari Marjek Ravilo in Central Bengkulu, quoted from Antara, Friday, January 20. However, at this time his party is still waiting for a team from the Inspectorate and experts to calculate physical work to conduct an overall audit of three activities that are suspected of causing state losses. If the Inspectorate has determined the exact amount of state losses incurred, then a suspect will be determined. Marjek said that until now his party had examined dozens of witnesses, such as the former village head, village secretary, village treasurer, village assistant to officials from one of the regional apparatus organizations (OPD). For three activities that are suspected to have violated the law or alleged corruption, namely the construction of a farmer business road (JUT), the construction of a warehouse, and the installation of signal towers. In implementing the three activities, he said, there were strong allegations that the fictitious and tower accountability letter (SpJ) that was built did not work. "Based on witness testimony for tower construction, there are allegations of involvement of unscrupulous officials. However, the extent to which the involvement is still being investigated, and these individuals have also been examined but denied any involvement in these activities," he said again.
