Police Have Arrested The Tanah Tersangka Tanah Tersangka In The Corruption Case Of The Weigh Bridge Project Of The Tabalong Transportation Agency Of South Kalimantan.

The Tabalong Police have arrested a man with the initials M, a suspect in the alleged corruption case in land acquisition for the construction of the Motor Vehicle Weighing Implementation Unit (UPPKB) or the Tabalong Transportation Service (Dishub) weighing bridge in South Kalimantan (Kalsel).

Tabalong Police Chief AKBP Anib Bastian said suspect M was a land broker who received power from the land owner.

"As the recipient of the power of attorney from the land owner, the suspect received payment for land compensation even though it was not his capacity," said Aneb in Tabalong, South Kalimantan, Friday, January 20, as reported by Antara.

During this arrest, Tabalong Police investigators also confiscated evidence in the form of three bank statements in the name of M, two receipts of loan money, a statement of release of land, and an official statement of payment of compensation.

Suspect M received payment of land compensation of Rp1.9 billion and for the construction of bridge facilities and infrastructure, weighing the Tabalong Regency Government, it was budgeted Rp5 billion in the Budget Implementation Change Document (DPPA) for regional work units (SKPD) for Fiscal Year 2017.

In this case of alleged corruption in the weight bridge, the legal apparatus first processed the suspect RN, which is a state civil servant (ASN) at the Tabalong Regency Transportation Service.

In the Supreme Court's decision Number 938 K/Pid.Sus/2022 on March 8, 2022, RN was found guilty and sentenced to six years and a fine of Rp. 400 million.

Previously, RN was acquitted by the Panel of Judges at the Corruption Court at the Banjarmasin District Court based on decision Number: 21/Pid.Sus-TPK/2020/PN.Bjm dated March 25, 2021.

Furthermore, the public prosecutor filed an appeal on April 6, 2021, and submitted a memorandum of cassation on April 19, 2021 until the Supreme Court's decision was issued on March 8, 2022, which found the convict guilty.

However, RN has not been executed because it has disappeared, and the Tabalong District Attorney has also determined a wanted list (DPO) for RN in coordination with the Attorney General's Office in stages through the high prosecutor's office, the police to carry out the execution of the convict.
