MAKASSAR - After being on the run for five years, a corruptor of Rp. 3.9 billion from Makassar Sitti Saenab NB was arrested by the South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office at his escape site in the Cipete area, Jakarta.

The fugitive is a convict Sitti, for the corruption case of the Makassar City Daya General Hospital (RSUD) procurement project since 2018.

From the arrest of the convict who was fugitive for five years, the team immediately took him to the Class IA Penitentiary (Lapas) in South Jakarta to serve a sentence of five years in prison, including paying fines and replacement money.

"Because the person concerned asked to be executed in Jakarta. So after the arrest was made, the Public Prosecutor handed it over to the South Jakarta Prison to carry out his execution," he asserted.
