The Sharp Armed Youth Group In Kembangan Was Arrested By The West Jakarta Police Pioneer Team

Dozens of motorcycle gang members were about to attack residents who were arrested in Kembangan, West Jakarta by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team. A total of 11 people were arrested along with evidence.

West Jakarta Metro Police Head of Samapta Kompol Arief Budiharso said the perpetrators were secured from Jalan Kompas, North Kembangan Village, Kembangan District, West Jakarta.

"We have secured a group of 11 students who wanted to fight," said Commissioner Arief when confirmed by VOI, Friday, January 20.

When arrested, the police confiscated various types of sharp weapons from the hands of the perpetrators. They were arrested after officers received reports from the public that a group of students were suspected of being involved in a brawl.

"That there was a group of students riding 3 convoys allegedly wanting to fight and carry a knife," he said.

Furthermore, the Pioneer Patrol Team responded to reports from the community. When the officers arrived, the students had fled, some of them even threw away the knife.

"Evidence of sharp weapons of the type of sickle and iron bar. We continue to make efforts to prevent student brawls and street crimes, in order to maintain security stability," he said.

The perpetrators along with the evidence were then handed over to the Kembangan Police Headquarters.

Separately, the Head of the Kembangan Police, Kompol Ubaidillah, confirmed the handover of teenagers by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team.

"Yes, it is true that we accept the handover of teenagers who are suspected of wanting to carry out brawls," he said.

Until this news was written, teenagers were still undergoing in-depth examination by investigators at the Kembangan Police Headquarters.
