Kembali Jadi Ketua Dewan Pengahurah Formula E 2023, Bamsoet Bakal Berikan Kejutan Siapa Ketua Organisannya

JAKARTA - The chairman of the MPR who also serves as the General Chair of the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) is again the Chairman of the Steering Committee for Formula E this year.

In his Instagram account, Bamsoet said that PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the BUMD organizer of Jakarta E-Prix is currently preparing a committee for the race event. In the near future, Jakpro will announce which chairman of the organizing committee or organizing the Formula E committee is in 2022.

"As Chairman of IMI, I will be the Chairman of the Steering Committee. Ananda Mikoka as Deputy Chairperson of the IMI Car Sports will return to be Chairman of the Racing Committee. Meanwhile, the organizing committee will be announced in the near future, which is certain to be a surprise regarding the chairman of the committee," said Bamsoet via Bambang.soesatyo's account, Thursday, January 19.

Meanwhile, in 2022, the Chairperson of the Formula E Organizing Committee is Ahmad Sahroni. Sahroni is a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the NasDem Faction as well as the Secretary General of the Indonesian Motor Association.

During the trip, Bamsoet emphasized that this year's electric car race will not use the DKI Jakarta APBD. So, Jakpro will collaborate with various private parties to become a sponsor with a business to business scheme.

"The cost of organizing it is not too big, because the circuit has been built and the fee for organizing the event has also been paid to the FEO," he said.

For information, Formula E Operation (FEO) has included the schedule for the implementation of Formula E in Jakarta on June 3 and 4, 2023 in the 9th season of the race calendar on its official website.
