JAKARTA - The Regional Finance Agency (BKD) of Depok City collects taxpayers (WP) on Indoor billboards or billboards in malls. The goal is to boost Regional Original Income (PAD).

Head of Regional Tax Division I of the Depok City BKD, Yuli Puspita Anggraini, said that the indoor billboards were collected to record all billboards in malls throughout Depok City.

"This is all so that potential acceptance from the billboard sector can increase," said Yuli, quoted from Antara, Monday, January 16.

Yuli involved at least six field officers to check. Checks are carried out by measuring and looking at billboards to determine the cost of the billboard tax.

"It must be measured and seen the type (reclame) to determine the payment of billboards. This activity is carried out from December 2022 to January 2023 with a scheduled time," he explained.

He said officers also carried out socialization related to billboard taxes to the owner and person in charge of stores or shops in the mall. It is hoped that this effort can provide awareness about the importance of taxes for development in Depok City.

"We will definitely carry out socialization in this activity. Hopefully they can pay in time. And understand the importance of paying taxes for development in Depok City," said Yuli.
