Nothing Has CHANGED, Jakpro CONTINUES To Be The Organizer Of Formula E 2023

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) remains the organizer of the Jakarta E-Prix which will take place in North Jakarta on June 3-4, 2023.

Syachrial said the stipulation was conveyed by the representative of Formula E Operation (FEO) Gemma Roura during a visit and directly visited the International Circuit of Formula E Jakarta (Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit / JIEC) in the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol area, North Jakarta, Friday, January 13 yesterday.

"The FEO represented by Gemma Roura said he was satisfied with the technical and non-technical preparations that Jakpro was making during a visit to JIEC on Friday (13/1)," said Vice President (VP) of the Jakarta Propertindo Corporate Secretary (Jakpro) Syachrial Syarif in a statement in Jakarta, Monday, January 16, as reported by Antara.

Dalam kunjungan itu, menurut Syachrial, perwakilan FEO juga memastikan tahapan-tahapan persiapan Jakpro menjelang puncak pelaksanaan Formula E Jakarta pada 3-4 Juni 2023 sesuai dengan kalender balap musim ke-9 yang telah diunggah dalam laman resmi https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/races.

After the visit, said Syachrial, FEO representatives will also be more intense in visiting Jakarta to coordinate with the local Formula E Jakarta organizing team in 2023. This is considering that the implementation of the only electric car race in Indonesia will take place in the next few months.

The first series of the 9th season of Formula E 2023 has been followed by 11 teams and 22 racers and will be completed in Mexico in the early hours of Saturday (14/1) WIB.

Avalanche Andretti's driver Jake Dennis won the race. Meanwhile, in second place was Pascal Wehrlein (Tag Heuer Porsche) and Lucas Di Grassi (Mahindra Racing) in third place.

Furthermore, the second series of international electric car racing will take place in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on 27-28 January 2023.

Chairman of the Jakarta E-Prix 2022 Steering Committee (SC) Bambang Soesatyo (Bamsoet) also confirmed that Jakpro will cooperate with IMI DKI and Central IMI in the holding of Formula E Jakarta in June 2023.

In addition, to coincide with the inauguration of the DKI Jakarta Province Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) management for the 2021-2025 period at City Hall, Bamsoet emphasized that the Jakarta Formula E event would fully use business cooperation funds (B2B) with the private sector.

"We agree that later the funds used for non-APBD Formula E must be fully private and sponsor," said the IMI General Chair.
