Kasus Pembunuhan Brigadier J, Strong Ma'ruf Dituntut 8 Tahun Penjara

The public prosecutor (JPU) charged the defendant Strong Ma'ruf with imprisonment for 8 years. Strongly considered involved in a series of alleged murder cases of Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J.

"Imposing (demand, ed) the defendant Strong Ma'ruf is sentenced to 8 years in prison minus his prison term," said the prosecutor during a trial at the South Jakarata District Court, Monday, January 16.

In the lawsuit, there were several burdensome considerations, including Strong Ma'ruf not admitting his mistake and being convoluted in giving information.

Ma'ruf's strong actions caused the loss of Yosua alias Brigadier J's life and grief left deep wounds to the families of the victims.

In addition, there are also mitigating considerations. The prosecutor considers that Ma'ruf has never been prosecuted.

"He has no personal motive and was polite during the trial," said the prosecutor.

Strong Ma'ruf in the alleged murder case of Yosua Brigadier J played a role in closing access out of the scene. The trick is to close the doors and windows of Ferdy Sambo's official residence in the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta.

"Then it was true that the defendant, Strong Ma'ruf, in accordance with the discussion with witness Ferdy Sambo regarding his role, immediately closed the front door to reduce the sound and closed the exit access if victim Nopriansyah Yosua Hutabarat fled," said the prosecutor.

"Then, the defendant Strong Ma'ruf went up to the second floor to close the door of the balcony when the sun was still bright and not yet dark. The picture of the CCTV was attached to the letter of demand," continued the prosecutor.

Ma'ruf's strong role was because his actions closed the doors and windows that did not match his main duties as a household assistant (ART).

Because, Strong Ma'ruf was given the task of preparing the daily needs of Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawati who attended Magelang.

The role of the defendant, Strong Ma'ruf, was concluded to have targeted witness statements during the trial.

Originally, in this case, Strong Ma'ruf was accused jointly of participating in the murder and/or assisting in the premeditated murder of Yosua alias Brigadier J. He was said to have not prevented and informed the police of the murder of Brigadier J at the Ferdy Sambo official residence at the Police Complex, Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on July 8.

In addition, in the trial, Ma'ruf's Strong action which was in the spotlight was closing the window over the official house. In fact, it was not his job as a household assistant (ART).
